In class, you have experienced life in both a capitalist and socialist economy.  Depending on your profession and salary you may have differing opinions on which economic system is better.   In your response indicate your preference and why.

Renaissance Art

As you can see from these two examples Renaissance artists, Michelangelo and Ralpheal, were masters at the use of perspective and shadowing in order to create the 3-D effect.  Today you experiemented with these techniques.  Please take a moment and reflect on this experience.  Were you able to use these techniques effectively?  Were you more successful with one than another?  Why?

Using the information that you have read about the life of a knight during Medieval Times and the code of chivalry, think about which vows are relevant for modern times.  Respond telling which vow you think is most important and how you could show it is important in your daily life.

It’s All Greek To Me!

We had a fun-filled culmination of our Greek unit of study last Friday, Greek Day.  You came dressed in chitons, performed Greek mythology plays, ate a Greek feast and participated in the Olympics.  

I’d like you to reflect on Greek Day,  focus on which aspect of the day you enjoyed the most.  Then write a comment telling which part of Greek Day you chose and support why.
